Credit Controller

Job Summary:

This position will be based in Sri Lanka and will oversee the operations of EMPL in the Maldives.

What You’ll Do:

·       Debt Collection & Payment Monitoring: Ensure timely payments and minimize outstanding debts.

·       Credit Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks effectively.

·       Debtor Ledger Reconciliation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date debtor accounts.

·       Customer Dispute Resolution: Resolve issues efficiently to maintain strong client relationships.

·       Compliance & Record-Keeping: Adhere to company policies and maintain detailed records.

·       Bad Debt Management: Strategically manage and reduce bad debts.

·       General Ledger Reconciliations: Perform tasks that management will delegate time to time in relation to General Ledger Reconciliations.

What We’re Looking For:

·       Degree in Accounts or Finance.

·       Partly qualified (CA / ACCA / CIMA).

·       Strong analytical skills to evaluate creditworthiness.

·       Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

·       Proficiency with accounting and credit control software.
